Moving Forward

So I think anybody who can view this page can see that it's been a while since I've updated this game. And I've recently decided to dive back in a publish an update that I had actually finished a while ago, and then programmed directly over it. So as I went about trying to separate and push out this update last night, I realised I've left it in a horribly messed up format, with many variables being altered and changed in one place, and remaining as the old one in other places. So it is going to be taking far more work to be getting it in working order even if I just fix the variables. But on top of that, much of my code is from when I was just starting out, and done incredibly poorly, so I will being rewriting all of that as well, which will make things much smoother moving forward.

On top of that, I'm also taking the time at which this devlog is being put out to make the change of this game to 18+. This switch is something that I've been pondering in my head for a while, and I've finally decided that this is something that'll be necessary moving forward in my opinion. This game is not intended to ever be a smut game, even though that is what is typically put under 18+ on this site, but the content that I want to put in I feel would be very important to put under the 18+ umbrella, as it will be including many things that aren't intended for younger audiences. Some of the content will be listed below.

I will also mention that the content within does not reflect my beliefs, I simply want to create a world that is not this ideal, wonderous place. It has many flaws, many issues, and lots of terrible people. I feel it fits the world I want to create far more. Not everything is great, but there are still plenty of good people, people who'll stand up for others, who'll fight against the evils of society, and who simply just want to be able to survive in this world. That's why this is here.

Some things that will be within the game would be:

 * The hunting of a sapient people for sport

 * The refusal to view a peoples as just that, people

 * Varying drug usage

 * Some sexual content

 * Slavery

 * Probably more to be fully honest, I can only go off of what is currently planned for upcoming quests
